Wisconsin’s abortion rate and why we won’t be silent

Read this week’s “Wisconsin Family Connection” (weekly radio commentary) for insight on Wisconsin’s falling abortion rate and next steps in attempts to stop late second-trimester abortions from happening at the UW-affiliated Madison Surgery Center.

Last week the State Department of Health Services released its annual report on abortions in the state. The good news is, the numbers are going down. The bad news is, abortions are still taking place in this state by the thousands. The study found that abortions performed in Wisconsin were down from 8,267 in 2007 to 8,229 in 2008.
