Voting: A Matter of Stewardship

Today’s radio commentary:

Today is Election Day. Every political ad, every phone call, every piece of campaign literature we’ve received has tried to keep the election front and center in our thinking. Unfortunately, all of the slandering and lying that typifies so many elections and individual races may have soured you to politics, and to voting.

I hope and pray, however, that you can parse through the political debris swirling around you, and understand not only who you are voting for, but also what an incredible Christian duty and privilege it is to vote.

We have the great privilege to choose our leaders in this country. It’s a God-given right that comes with a responsibility of Christian stewardship.
