FAIR Wisconsin, a local homosexual advocacy group, is making the rounds in the Badger State. At their prompting, the city of Stevens Point, WI, is considering an amendment to their existing benefit package, and the decision will be made THIS MONDAY, June 17, at the City Council meeting.
Wisconsin Family Action president Julaine Appling states, “We benefit marriage through government because marriage between a man and a woman is good for society at large. This is not a time for any municipality to be considering yet another financial burden upon benefits.”
Folks in Stevens Point should call their local city council member and voice their opinion.
