Brat Fest Sponsor Caves After Bullying By Madison Alderwoman

Motivational speaker, Bob Lenz, had been scheduled to talk to festival-goers at the annual Brat Fest in Madison this weekend, May 23-25.  Tim Metcalfe, president of Metacalfe’s Market, had offered to sponsor a stage at the event and feature Christian music and lectures.  Metcalfe had invited Lenz to bring a lecture on teen suicide.  However, earlier this week, Madison alderwoman Lisa Subeck, former executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Wisconsin, indicated she would not participate as a celebrity in the event if Lenz is involved. Subeck was unhappy with Bob Lenz’s well-known pro-life activism and involvement with “Save the Storks,” an organization that offers ultrasounds outside of abortion clinics in the hopes of saving the lives of unborn children.  After receiving the note from Subeck, Metcalf decided to pull Lenz from the event for fear of “unnecessary controversy.”

Not a Revolutionary Idea: NARAL’s “Men for Choice” a Tool for Sexually Irresponsible

“What abortion is, is a safety net for sexually predatory and sexually irresponsible males…don’t be so blind, or so pathetically naïve, that you think abortions are done for the benefit of women.  After all, if the people promoting this “Men for Choice” campaign can figure out whose bread is being buttered, so can you.”

~ Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics, Inc.

Last evening, the abortion rights group NARAL kicked off their “Men for Choice” campaign with a fundraiser.  Hunter Biden, son of Vice President Joe Biden, was on the host committee.  Mark Crutcher of Life Dynamics, Inc., had this to say about the event:

Influencing Elections

This week’s radio commentary:

Last week I was enjoying a pleasant walk in downtown Madison when I came across someone standing at a street corner handing out flyers and holding a clipboard, not an uncommon sight in our capital city. When the person held out a flyer and asked me if I need a job I was about to politely refuse and walk on when I saw a word on the flyer that caught my attention.
